Thank you for your ongoing support as we have closely monitored the coronavirus outbreak and the constantly evolving stream of information over recent days. Our commitment to the health and safety of our patients and team members is unwavering. We have made the decision to close our orthodontic clinics until further notice. We’ve prepared a set of questions and answers to keep you in the know.


Q: What if I require emergency orthodontic care while the office is closed?

A: Please visit our Patient Care Centre and submit a request for a Care Call.


Q: What about my next appointment?

A: If you have an appointment booked, a team member will be in touch with you when we reopen to reschedule it.


Q: How might this affect my treatment plan?

A: We are doing our best to ensure that treatment plans are impacted as minimally as possible. We commit to openly communicating with you about your treatment and any changes that can be expected. Please visit our everyday care guide for some tips and tricks to get you through this time.


Q: How does this affect my monthly payments?

A: For all of our patients with ongoing payment arrangements, your monthly payments will not be impacted by this closure. You will continue to make payments on your scheduled payment date. We understand that some of our patients may be experiencing financial hardship as a result of COVID-19. For patients whose employment status has changed or may be managing income loss due to COVID-19, we want to assist as best we can with your next monthly payment. Please complete the form found here and a member of our team will be in touch with you directly to discuss potential options.


Q: What should I do if I was due to receive new aligners?

A: Your regular checkups with your doctor are important to your Invisalign treatment and to receiving new aligners. As a reminder, during this time, you should continue to wear your aligners as instructed at your last appointment and avoid eating or drinking anything other than water when your aligners are in. This will help keep them clear and intact. This is particularly important if you have run out of new aligners.


Q: What if I was due for a braces and/or appliance check-in?

A: Your wires are responsible for straightening your teeth and they will continue to work in your mouth until your next visit. Remember to avoid hard, sticky, and chewy foods as this will minimize the potential for issues.


Q: What if I was due to have my appliance removed?

A: We understand that your appointments are very important to you and we feel exactly the same way! Your beautiful smile is our top priority. Please continue to follow the instructions given at your last appointment, and we can’t wait to see you in the clinic as soon as we possibly can.


Q: Do I need to check in about my retainer?

A: To maintain your beautiful smile, please continue to wear your retainers as instructed during your last appointment. Remember, if your retainers feel tight when you insert them, it is a good indication that longer wear is required.
